TRIPOLI – The Director of Moral Guidance Department of the General Staff of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), Colonel Nasser al-Qaid, expressed their firm rejection of any truce in Tripoli.

Al-Qaid said in a statement on February TV channel owned by the Islamist Abdelhakim Belhadj in a recording published late on Friday evening, commenting on the truce demanded by UN envoy Ghassan Salame and approved by GNA that they reject the truce altogether.
