More than 20 community members from Lara, Mérida, Falcón and Apure successfully completed the course on Management Method organized by the School of Political, Ideological and Technical Formation of the Socialist Commune El Maizal.

In this process of knowledge socialization, the theoretical contributions made by revolutionaries such as Alfredo Maneiro, Karl Marx, Mao Zedong, Ernesto “Che” Guevara, Ho Chi Min, Martha Hernecker, among others, were studied.

The materials were provided by militants from organizations such as the Brazilian Movement of Landless Workers (MST), the Alexis Vive Patriotic Front, the Left Cultural Front, the Lara Producers Network, Women for Life, the March 5 Commune, among others; collectively analyzing theories about organization, base work, methods for analyzing the current situation, strategy, tactics, among other elements that will serve as a tool to deepen the organizational and productive processes that take place in each of the territories in which the participants are active.

“The importance of participating in this training course is to be able to get together and exchange territorial experiences to strengthen the communal movement and as a unitary platform to achieve our goals: The communal plan or nothing that the eternal commander left us”, declared Yasmely Carrero, member of the Comuna Agroecológica los Admirables 200 of Mérida, participant of the course. In fact, one of the main objectives of this course was to contribute to the process of unity that different communes, collectives and other social organizations have been developing, in order to provide an coordinated and effective response from the grassroots to the difficulties that the Venezuelan people are facing in the framework of the capitalist crisis that humanity is undergoing, with its own particularities in our nation.

Simón Romero, member of the Socialist Commune El Maizal said about his experience in the course: “We came out strengthened with the study, the ideas and all the debates that we had to put them into practice in our territories and lead to the consolidation of what this national communal movement is, which is a task for everyone”. “We are looking for a training system to transform our bases and territories to promote a national communal movement prepared to defend the revolution in any terrain and in any circumstance,” declared Juan Fernández, member of the Pancha Vásquez de Elorza Commune, Apure State.
