The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, ratified the commitment of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB) to remain in formation to optimize its operational readiness and adequacy of its scope of action in terms of defense and protection of peace and sovereignty of the country.
“Our FANB is mobilized and in permanent preparation for the defense of the historical legacy of the liberators of the Homeland. In Venezuela we will not allow any intervention, much less a civil war. Here what there will be is peace,” the national leader emphasized on Twitter.
The Bicentennial Military Exercises of Angostura 2019 will be held in the country from Sunday, February 10 to 15 in order to raise the operational readiness of the FANB, test the actions of command and control, communications and military planning, in addition to demonstrating the ability to deploy the armed force, as explained this week by the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (Ceofanb), Remigioeball Ceballos.
