Venezuela: If I Were the Invader

Those troops would come organized in battalions under the aspect of plain carriers of bags and boxes, hypothetically containing food. Some would wear the respective uniforms of the International Red Cross, others religious and others diplomatic. Don’t forget that this is the conspiracy of disguises: if the persona for the purposes of the networks and media of “information” is a common soplaverga whom Trump disguised as president, from there down anyone can disguise himself as what he is not: ready to invade with masks, simulations and holograms.

Since this disguise includes the profusion of deceitful and pretentious announcements that conceal the schemes with words, if I were the invader I would be filling my mouth saying that I am going to enter through Cúcuta, but at the last minute I would try an invasion by any point of the 2,200 kilometers of common border.

If I were the invader I would already have clear in mind the intention and scope of the move: I present myself at various points of the northern, southern and western (and eastern?) borders with the respective troops, and I would begin the challenge: if they let me in, they are already invaded; if you stop me, there will be gunshots and international public opinion will take our side (“Maduro didn’t let in 800 tons of food and medicine that his people need, what a bad guy”). And if there is any death (something easy to achieve through a simple provocation) then they will have the warlike deployment that we are all waiting for.

If I were the invader I would be rehearsing for weeks the entry into action of the recipients of those boxes or bags: the whole structure of guarimberos and promoters of the anti-Chávez and anti-Venezuelan parties, suspiciously deactivated or at rest when it was supposed to be more active, could reappear there with a huge smile receiving the gift of Valentine’s Day (someone already mentioned the date February 14). As in the terrorist rehearsals of 2014 and 2017, Voluntad Popular, Primero Justicia, Vente María Corina and other terrorist sects, accompanied by people from the neighborhoods subcontracted for dirty tasks and direct action, cannon fodder as always, would be preparing to enter into action in those places where the embrace of treason with Colombian, Brazilian and U.S. murderers will be exchanged.

If I were the invader, I would have prepared the scene for a ” task ” already rehearsed before: a show for the networks and the media in the cities of Venezuela. A handful of performances that would include the burning of garbage, goods and people, confrontation with the police forces and the immolation of some idiot for playing with gunpowder (that idiot would have the poster prepared: the face of the stupid boy with the sky and the flag in the background).

If I were the invader I would already have the great headline that will be repeated in various media around the world, just copy it and paste it: “Maduro murders Venezuelans for peacefully protesting. It is always good to create several fronts for the enemy, even if they are media fronts and outrageous, suitable for cameramen with enthusiastic war journalists to display.

If I were the invader, I would already have the narrative of human rights violated by criminals. A murderer who is liquidated in the street for threatening the lives of others will be presented to the world as the humble liberator of the Venezuelan people, as a citizen with rights whom the dictatorship murdered while he was passing by and confronted the regime with a bouquet of roses in his hands and some songs of the ABBA group on his lips. He was going to sing “Dancing Queen” and a communist henchman killed him “with the explosion of a tear gas bomb” (that weapon of mass destruction of neurons has already worked for me before; it will work again).

If I were the invader, I would have already catalogued the spokespersons and mouthpieces of human rights groups, even those who claim to be Chavistas and say they reject the invasion of Venezuela, but when they see a criminal killed for playing war (killing others), then very harsh statements are made. They have an image to look after; if they don’t speak sufficiently about Maduro’s regime, they could lose points in their ranks, and they could also lose sources of funding.

If I were the invader I would already have the creators of the parallel government’s SEBIN operating in the intelligence agencies. Already the troops of that body (which would no longer be so called) would be at work to do the cleansing that would come. They possess profuse and valuable information about each Chavista leader and militant of the institutions and bases, and the Bolivarian Government pays them for keeping it up to date and organized; they are the perfect spies.

If I were the invader I would also have in my sights, as potential allies of the invasion, the fragmented opinion leaders and social network surfers who call themselves Chavistas, but who were easy to convince that the United States and its satellites will attack Venezuela because its government is corrupt. I’ve already convinced them that the Trump administration cares too much about the neatness of the Venezuelan government, and that’s why I’m going to overthrow it. After that I can convince them of any other thing.
