We continue to follow the latest wave of bloody fighting among the February armed militias that took place August 27th, which is a continuation of the armed violence witnessed by Libya since February 2011 that has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of civilians and caused the collapse of services.
While we express our regret for the innocent civilian victims who have been killed by this militia fighting, we deplore the act of subjecting the lives of the Libyan people and their public and private property to militia’s mess-up. We hold the Presidency Council morally and legally responsible for the lives of prisoners and detainees in the official and unauthorized prisons.
In this context, we cannot fail to remind the Security Council, which is the primary cause of the events that have been taking place in Libya from March 2011 up to the present, of the necessity to assume its responsibilities towards the Libyan people. The Security Council is the one who legitimized the military intervention in Libya, which has transformed it from a safe country into rubble and a stronghold for the terrorist militias.
In conclusion, we ask Allah to protect innocent civilians in the capital Tripoli and in all the cities and villages of Libya.
Freedom for the homeland … and sovereignty for the people.

نتابع ما تشهده مدينة طرابلس اليوم الإثنين الموافق 27 أغسطس، الموجة الجديدة من إلإقتتال الدموي بين الميليشيات الفبرايرية المسلحة، وهو استمرار للعنف المسلح الذي تشهده ليبيا منذ فبراير 2011 والذي أودى بحياة عشرات الألف من المدنيين وسبب في انهيار الخدمات.
وفي الوقت الذي نعرب فيه عن أسفنا على الضحايا من المدنيين الأبرياء الذين وقعوا جراء هذا الإقتتال الميليشياوي، نستنكر تعريض أرواح الشعب الليبي وممتلكاته العامة والخاصة للعبث الميليشياوي، ونحمّل المجلس الرئاسي وحكومته والميليشيات المسلحة المسيطرة على مدينة طرابلس المسؤولية القانونية والاخلاقية عن حياة الأسرى والمعتقلين في السجون الرسمية وغير الرسمية.
وفي هذا السياق لا يفوتنا تذكير مجلس الأمن الدولي بضرورة الإضطلاع بمسؤولياته تجاه الشعب الليبي بإعتباره المسبب الأول في ما آلت اليه الأمور بليبيا منذ مارس2011 وإلى اليوم، فهو من شرّعن التدخل العسكري في ليبيا ليحولها من بلد آمن إلى ركام ومعقل للميليشيات الإرهابية.
في الختام ، نسأل الله حفظه للمدنيين الأبرياء سكان العاصمة طرابلس وفي جميع مدن وقرى ليبيا.
