The first scientific Hakim conference organized by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) under the slogan “The Current Situation and the Mechanisms to Confront the Pilot Projects” concluded with the participation of Palestinian and Arab politicians, academics, trade unionists, and researchers under the supervision of professors.
The Conference paid tribute to the masses of our people at home and in the diaspora, to our Arab nation and the free world, to our brave prisoners in the prisons of the occupation, and to the spirit of the founder Dr. George Habash, the revolutionary leader on the tenth anniversary of his passing .
The Conference also called for the need to be inspired by the rich experience of the wise George Habash and all the leaders and martyrs of our great people.
The conference discussed ways to confront challenges and restore national unity, during which it presented a series of papers including; Jerusalem and refugees from settlement to liquidation by Prof. Ibrahim Ibraash from Gaza, The role of the captive movement in strengthening national unity, The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Israeli Prisons, The Reality of Popular Mobility and Ways to Develop It, by Professor Omar Shehadeh of Ramallah, and Gaza Strip between the Siege and Siege by Mr. Salah Abdel Ati from Gaza, National Unity and Resistance under the Current Situation and Role of Palestinian The leader of the Movement for the Sons of the Country, by Mr. Raja Egbaria from Umm al-Fahm, and The Foundations of Building Reconciliation and the Restoration of National Unity, by Prof. Khaled Safi of Gaza and the Arab National Front, Reality and Hope. Lebanon.
During the second session, the conference discussed strategies of confrontation and mechanisms to address the projects, during which a group of papers were presented: The Risks of the Crossroads Projects and the Facing Mechanisms, by Dr. Hossam Al-Dajani from Gaza, The National Dimension of the Palestinian Issue under the Present Situation, The role of resistance and the mechanisms of its organization and activation, by Dr. Adel Samara from Ramallah, Resistance Media, by Professor Sarkis Abu Zeid from Lebanon, Ways to strengthen the resistance economy, by Dr. Samir Abu Meddala from Gaza, To reduce Zionist penetration by Dr. Samah Idris from Lebanon, The role of global solidarity movements in supporting the Palestinian cause, by Dr. Wajih Abu Zarifa from Gaza.
After a discussion in the final session and in light of the current situation and the accelerated events since the decision of US President Donald Trump to declare the city of Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist entity, and a series of actions and Zionist decisions on the ground, the conference concluded with the following set of recommendations:
The need to re-examine the strategic objective of the Palestinian cause as a national liberation movement.
To conduct a critical review of the Palestinian experience at all levels, leading to the reconstruction and development of the institutions of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the rest of the components of the Palestinian political system.
The need to formulate a national salvation strategy based on confronting the occupation policies based on settlement and occupation.
The need to end the division and accelerate the implementation of the terms of reconciliation in accordance with the agreements and understandings that have been made.
Raise punitive measures against the Gaza Strip and address policies of occupational discrimination and avoid collective punishment as a humanitarian crime.
Strengthen the steadfastness of our people and provide the requirements for this in the short and long term.
Improving public sector performance, increasing productivity and aligning graduates with the needs of the Palestinian labor market.
To rebuild the Palestinian economy on sound foundations by ending economic dependence and developing a development plan based on the optimal use of human and material resources.
The need to align around the axis of resistance in the face of other alignments aimed at the liquidation of the Palestinian cause.
The need to develop the struggle within the 48 to integrate with the rest of the country.
To carry out campaigns to mobilize and educate the public on the importance of popular movement and action, and the formation of committees to protect against settler attacks.
Working on developing the performance of the resistance media through coordination and integration to serve the resistance project.
Intensify work against normalization and work to strengthen the role of the boycott of the Zionist occupation.
Developing relations with international solidarity movements to intensify the pressure on the international institution (United Nations) to implement its decisions related to the rights of the Palestinian people.
The need to pay attention to family and social formation in establishing the concept of boycott.
Continuing the diplomatic battle aimed at breaking the American decision on Jerusalem and the bias toward the Zionist side.
To address all American attempts aimed at the flotation of the UNRWA and the cancellation of its special character associated with the refugees of our people, and their right to return to the villages and cities in historic Palestine from which they were forced to flee.
To rehabilitate the three dimensions of the Palestinian cause at the national, national and international levels.
The need to address the conspiracies that target the Arab nation and unite the struggle in the face of conspiracies.
To convene an international conference with full powers to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy that are fair to our people.
To strengthen the steadfastness of prisoners and detainees, and to work by all means to free them from Zionist detention centers.
