The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) warned against any non-Palestinian presence in the management of the Rafah crossing, emphasizing that it will be treated as a foreign body, an occupation force and a legitimate target of resistance.
The PFLP stressed that the Rafah crossing is a purely Palestinian-Egyptian crossing according to international laws, and that the Palestinian side is authorized to manage the crossing in agreement with the Egyptian side, stressing that any plans here and there to introduce non-Palestinian parties or security companies at the crossing are doomed to failure, and will only be dealt with by force of arms.
The Front concluded its statement by emphasizing that the storming of the Rafah crossing is a Zionist crime aimed at military parade, obtaining a false image of victory, increasing pressure on the resistance to soften its positions regarding the deal, and satisfying the most right-wing and fascist leaders in the Zionist war government, stressing that this crime will not achieve security for the entity except more killing, destruction and starvation of defenseless civilians, and will not be able to release any Zionist detainee held by the resistance.
